Van Staal Spinning Reels + Surf Bag Combo

For all the serious surf fishermen, fishing a Van Staal Spinning Reel is a requirement.  At J&H, we sell several hundred a year and have no problems.  There are rumors out there that now that Van Staal is owned by Zebco, that the reels have gone down hill.  This is completely false.  Yes Van Staal has gotten rid of the lifetime warranty, and though i have no proof, i do believe some, if not all of the parts are machined over in China (Zebco has a machine shop there).
Whether Van Staal is saving money by machining pieces over in China, the materials are still the same high quality materials they have been made of from its inception.

I have heard rumors of Shimano launching a series of reels to compete with Van Staal sometime in '08.  Penn is also planning to build a high quality, American made spinning reel in the $300 range, but it is unclear if it will be dunkable or not.  If it is not dunkable then it is useless.  Zeebaas has recently launched a similarly priced competitor to the Van Staal, which has been selling quite well.  The Accurate TwinSpin is also an option.  It is completely sealed as well.

At J&H Closeouts, we are offering your choice of any Van Staal Spinning Reel + a Surf Bag for only $1 more!  This is a can't miss deal!

Also, for those of you looking for a larger sized Van Staal with a bail, the 200 and 250 will be out in the middle of November.

Sincerely,
Josh
